Kentucky NO-1 Greater

With an outstanding game from Anthony Davis and the Kentucky WildCats they have finally given Coach Cal a championship. Kansas played as good a defense as they could but there offense or should i say Kentucky's defense was a little too much. Robinson played his heart out for Kansas but the WildCats were just too good tonight and they deserved to win. Congrats Cats. This year there was NO-1 Greater.

Meet Your Astros - Carlos Lee

This is a very familiar face within the organization, El Caballo, Carlos Lee. If he stays with the ball club for the entire season, fans are hoping for production that can match his belly…errr - his contract. There were trade talks this offseason but teams (as well as the Astros) are taking a wait-and-see approach to see what Carlos shows up this year on opening day.

The Houston Texans select. . .

Lets see we need a big, strong, and fast receiver to hold down the number 2 spot on the Texans. Lets go down the list there it Justin Backmon hes the 1st receiver off the board no doubt, and there is Michael Floyd an even bigger stronger receiver than blackmon who will likely go way before pick 26. Then there is a tie at the 3rd rated WR of the 2012 draft its between Kendall Wright the 5'10" slot type, receiver who can return punts, has good hands, and has down the field speed, and there is Stephen Hill who is 6'5" 200 pounds, quick feet, great hands/body control, returns kicks and can run a 4.30 40!!! I guess you can see who i think they should draft. I previously went with Wright but as time passed I watched tons of film on Hill he can read a defense knows when to sit in a zone and when to run right past the coverage. Great kid good work ethic and when paired with Andre to teach him and take him under his wing i think this kid could do big things for the Texans.

Kentucky vs Kansas

So it comes down to the fast break offense of Kentucky and the on ball pressure and half court defense of  Kansas. Let me first start off by saying congratulations to both teams for making it to the championship games and for a great season thus far. Now that that's out the way Kansas and their pressure defense will cause some problems for the Kentucky guards because they have not faced a team that has been playing this good a defense and not had to double the ball. This will create turnovers and easy buckets for Kansas, something they will need to stay in this game. Now Kentucky on the other hand with the presence of Davis on the post he will alter if not block shots in the paint and that in itself will lead to fast break points for Kentucky, hell this team is so fast they can start a fast break at any moment. If Kentucky can move the ball around and execute there style of play and don't get caught up in a half court game they should win, but if Kansas can slow the game down and keep Withey in the post to stop the slashing and easy lobs down low they might have a chance to pull off the upset no to mention they will need Taylor and Robinson to attack the lane on offense and help with the defensive rebounds. In closing this will prove to be a very entertaining championship game and who ever wins will be a worth champion. Good Luck fellas.
