Rockets sign Diamond SImpson
Good young guy who can play the 4 or 5, can be a good backup to Camby, and can help the Rockets play big by playing him and Camby together in the playoffs. The Rockets need a center that can score and if he can polish his offensive game a little more he can be a good player to keep for next season coming off the bench. The deal with the Rockets is reportedly just till the end of the year so maybe that motivates Simpson to play well enough for the Rockets to bring him back next year.

Looks like a low risk, high reward type player....a hustle player
ReplyDeleteI Agree, he looks a Morey/Mchale type player. Hope he's as good as they think is, and since he has not been in the league you know hes going to bring that energy at the 4 or 5 spot.
