In the words of BIG "and another one" goes down with an ACL tear, but this time Mariano might be done for good. Rivera is undoubtedly the greatest closer to play baseball and that is what makes this story even worse. Rivera wanted to go out on his own terms and it looks like that wont happen. Reports are that he was catching pop ups in pre game, a ritual he does before every game, and got his foot stuck tearing his ACL. This is not good Yankee fans but either way you guys will be fine, and as for Mariano its too bad it ended this way. Here's to the best to ever do it.
